Clio Exhaust Hanger Design

Last night Baker (rollerdan) and I had our cars over my pit and noticed we both had knackered rear exhaust hangers. I searched the forum and found out that a lot of people are having problems with these hangers so I decided to design a new one rather than spend out on a new hanger for it to break again. I've done this quick design on CAD an hope to manufacture it when I have some spare time on the CNC and welding machines. I'll make it out of steel with rubber sleeves for the hanger to sit in. Let me know your thoughts!

Yeah but they're made of plastic. Heard the snap and are worse than the standard ones.

No problems at all had it fitted for over 6 months now.

Lol at making exhaust mounts out of plastic, they are a standard renault mount with a solid rubber exactly like your drawing bonded into them. I've got one in front of me atm.

I wasn't saying I was making mine out of plastic, I know it would melt! Must be worth £35 then. I'll invest in one of them!
