~ Clio Fuel "Door" Cover ~ removal ??

  "Navy" N17 TWO
How do I get the fuel "door" off my clio?

I have a modded cover bonded to mine at the min and I'm looking to swap back to a black std one to see which I like best :)

Is it right that you open the door fully - pull it towards you until a white clip comes out, then just undo the clip?
I might try this but I don't want to break the dam thing - we all know what Reno parts are like :clown:

Thanks for any hints
Trev

I cant help on a technical level but I can offer an opinion of which will look best. If I had trouble removing it, I think I'd tie it to a door handle with a piece of string and then drive off.

Quickly.

as i said trev - go to a scrappies and get a 2nd hand one for cheap then sell ur one on to a gullable wee boyracer!

 How dare you! :( I put it on that IHMO it wouldn't look tacky

I still like it - just want a std black one so I can swap them over if I change my mind :)

The silver cover is stuck-on and not budging so I already kno I need a spare from a scrappy

It's how to get the origional renault flap off that has me bewildered :S

dont try pull it to unclip it, i thought this as i wanted to try wrap mine in carbon fibre to match other parts i have already done and broke the bloody thing off. it is accessible for removal above the rear wheel in the wheel arch. you shud see a white pin with a spring over it and a black cap on the end. well that is what i pressume it shud look like after picking the broken pieces up off the floor :(
