Clio III Test Drive

  Ph1 172 & others
Went to my local Dealer (Jaybee Motors Banbury) and had a test drive in a clio III. The model i drove was a black DCI in Dynamique Spec. Btw it looks loads better in the flesh than it does in pictures.

Thought it was great, cornered like it was on rails and to be fair was quite pokey for a diesel. The interior was nice but the seats were very uncomfortable.

Anyway to top it all off i thought it was a great car even if it is basically a nissan micra. And i got a free box of wine!

Do the words "British Designers" not scare anyone else?

They gave you...

The Montego
The Metro
The Allegro
The Marina
The Austin Princess

They came up with the idea of welding two V6's together for the Stag and then watched as it promptly blew up!

And now we let them get there hands on the Clio.......

lol i know. im sure the Vee owners on here know that the guy responsible for design and development of the V6 mk1 + 2 was a brit. Infact the majority of the Mk1 team were based at TWR in oxfordshire
