Yep, Megane 250 maps to 300bhp without any other mods.

Clio might map to less I guess as its a smaller engine and possibly a smaller turbo?

I think in spite of that 215 at 220hp will be possible only with a remap and especially without dangers & risks for the engine and the gearbox

After 230hp or + , hum i'm not sure for that the set remains reliable...

I can believe the Meg does, but the clio would never, small 1.6 small turbo.

My brothers corsa vxr is a stage 2 with full exhaust, filter, Fmic, stage 2 bluefin map and it's around 230-240.

wasnt impressed with paris show pics but those cup ones have totally changed my mind. Looks very aggressive in those shots. Aslong as its got potential to look like that i would have one

Im sure itl be a riot stock power. But 220bhp+ would be nice!

The Mini FJCW has a 1.6T and can be reliably tuned to 270bhp with only a larger FMIC, remap and de-cat. No doubt the Clio lump will be the same, providing it can handle the power hike.

With its rally engines 1.6L Turbo (the "same base" of commercial cars) Peugeot-Citroen say possible to have 400hp with good reliable for the engine & the car so yes it's possible ...

BUT the problem is for the rest of the parts and the gearbox for example

Put 270hp on a Clio 4RS with its semi-auto gearbox is pure madness without change or strengthen the gearbox for example if you want to take advantage of the save power gain

And in your "BMW-MINI" it is the same thing by the way, your gearbox and the rest of your car aged and worn much faster now...

This would have been a great looking car in 3 doors

The potential is all there, but it somehow is lacking any visual drama, maybe when we see the first ones on coilovers and 18" turinis with that cup spoiler on I'll change my mind a bit...but....4 doors arrghh

alot of people tend to jump on the band wagon these days.. Renault are taking a step forward with the DSG box, I bet alot of opinions will change once they have driven it

Surely less weight, more power and as good as a chassis as they've done before can only equal a winner, the gearbox is the only thing that could go tits up i think.

I will definitely look at test driving one

And why is the the Clio 200 EDC, what is EDC?

and i'm an example of that

I was this previous weekd-end at the World Series Renault on the track of Paul Ricard (SE of France in Le Castellet) and Renault exposed this last Clio 4 (not the RS version but the "normal")

And if I dont liked the forms of this new Clio 4 before, seing pics and videos on the web and newspapers, now I saw it IRL I find it more attractive (even with its 5 doors ^^) than of what I thought before

It has harmonious, well-balanced forms and which are well with the whole car

And inside it's very classy <3

Definitely not keen on those stupid trimmings on the door bottoms, but with a bit of imagination, it's easy to see that without them, the car would look very much like an MPV.

Hum ... I think you say that because your eyes are still used to see the Clio 2RS & the Clio 3RS BUT like say "Depeche Mode" in an old song of the 80's ^^ : "it's a question of time" like usually for you too and like I said you dont see IRL this clio 4, so ;-)
