Clio keys

My Clio Sport keys are being funny.

One of them remotely opens the central locking but won't start the engine. the other keys won't remotely open the central locking but starts it.

I've changed the battery and swapped over the halves of keys to see if that works, but nothing seems to fix it.

Any ideas or similar problems?

Maybe once the battery has been taken out it might need coding to your car again!! ive no idea mate it's a wierd one!! i'd ring renault!!

Phase 1 or phase 2 car?
Sounds like the one which doesn't start the car needs checking the other just needs recalibrating.

Press the key fob buton for more than 2 seconds
Dorrs lock then unlock
Imobiliser LED lights up (the one on the dash)
Press the key fob button again.
Imobiliser light should do off (the one on the dahs)


Repeat for the other keys.

I suggest that one key turns in the ignition, but the car wont start.

I think the chip in the key could be missing, or you only have half the key
