Can anyone help me out choosing an engine and box combo to fit in my mk2 clio?
it currently has a 1.6 with automatic box, has electric faults showing on dash, and gearbox is leaking oil and in limp mode. It's a 1999 V reg RN clio.
looking into investigation costs + eventual repair bill. I am thinking it may be easier and cheaper just to replace them both and be done with it.
Can anyone suggest what engines/box's will fit straight and, including ecu if different, and possibly which would be the cheapest option?
also, does anyone know if a clio mk1 1.4 auto engine/box/ecu would drop in?
