CLIO MK1 ENGINE CONVERSION*******

Car  clio mk1
hi guys i wana drop a renault 5 gt turbo 1.4 lump into my clio mk1 1.2

has any1 got any info or pics or important things i should no b4 i start

cheers

my advice, dont bother

dont insure it with any normal company if you do, they will NOT cover the mod properly, i had an accident in mine and it took 6 months to get them to pay out anything near its value, this is all after me confirming that all mods were covered numerous times before i took the policy out, and having receipts for every bit of work

sell it and buy a valver/williams

i had this done on my valver/show car. looked nice, but a pain in the arse.

i now have a williams, and have had a hybrid. go for a williams engine. i didnt think that they would be any different to a valver, but boy was i wrong. i have some pics somewhere if you want to see, just send me an email address and i'll send them over. honestly, if its your everyday car dont bother!

lol i just want a bit more power out of my clio yes its my everyday car but it would be funny to race people and watch there faces drop i am only 19 and the insurance would laf at me if i told them i had a valver or a williams i wana get 1 next year if i can i just want more power out of my mk1 clio it does slide nice though lol

my email address is paulmoore730@hotmail.com cheers ppl

I was 17 and had a valver, it was on my Mum's insurance but only £1200 still, just turned 20, at 19 I could of insured one for £1000 with 1 years NCB.

Give bell a try!
