clio mk2 heating problem

Hi

I have a clio rsi 1.6 2000 reg, the central heating doesn't seem to work and i have had someone tell me it might be the variable resistor that is the problem.

Would i just have to buy that part or would i have to also buy the heater blower?

If someone could please help me out and/or direct me to a website where i can purchase one that would be grateful.
