Could do with tidying up a little bit for me... Just some nice steelies on it, or at least paint those ones up and then get the trim nice and black. (No reason why it couldn't look like a tidy poverty spec)

Engine conversion looks great though :)

Front is running 16v bilstein shocks and standard springs. The rear has williams shocks and needs lowering to match the ride height of the front.

I intend on get hub caps for the steel wheels.

EPIC! Just clean and paint them wheels as they turn out great when they are painted.

But i do like pulled out of skip look!

Ha, it looks horrific, but i suppose thats the idea. It would look a million times better if it was just on coilovers. Just my Oppionion

If that was mine i'd leave it exactly like that, just put a crapper tailpipe on it.

i thought it was a pisstake till i saw the engine on the last pic.... nice one dude i love it bet that will leave a few top end car owners dissapointed as you blast them of

you dont "get" it do you?

Awesome :star:

F7R FTMFW, leave it just as it is, true wolf in sheep's clothing!!!!

Actually the more i'm looking at it, the more it needs smaller wheels. Can you not get 14's on?? Or will they not fit over the brakes??

Mores the point, you got any interesting stories with it? What you raced?

some people really havent got the idea of a sleeper on here, im suprised you havent been told to lower it on turini's, add a cup spoiler and splitter as well

Looks awesome, maybe rub the wheels down to bare metal and let them rust away through the winter, or if you're going for wheel trims, only ride with 3, a full set is for puffs!

A mate used to have a very stealthy corsa life, it looked extremely normal, coilovers wound all the way up, no backbox, just a c20 let running 6 speed box and phase 3.5 ...approx 300 bhp :D

The faces of people in better cars as it swept passed and left them in the distance was epic, I think his best was an m3 driver

It had 14s on it previously and it really struggled with traction.

Its a weekend toy so I don't use it a lot. Have suprised a few people in normal cars who thought they could cut in front of the slow car but I haven't had the chance to race anything interesting.

There will be 3 trims, the rear pasenger side will be missing (the rustiest wheel).

you dont "get" it do you?

I dont "get it"? lol

It would still be a bloody sleeper if it'd had a wash wouldnt it? Someone wouldnt see it and think OMG that 1.2 clio's clean, must have a f**king big ass engine under the bonnet, or some jumped up BWM driver wouldn't think I knew that clio was gonna beat me, it was clean...

If it was a total shed I'd agree with not tidying it up but as it looks like quite a well kept motor anyway it could just be made a little tidier.

thats like saying a rally car looks good but 'better' when its been cleaned in service?!

like it matters whether its had a wash or not, its meant to look normal/boring/unspectacular, but with a great engine inside (which is the draw of the thread)

I get what's ya's saying,
I do agree to some degree,
So lets all just be friends,
One happy clio family.

Sorry I got a bit bored of being awkward so decided to make it a poem instead. :)
