Clio RS Ph.1, removed air condition, remap?

  Clio MAXI-Kit CAR
Hello!

I have removed air cond., abs, power steering from RS Ph.1

Logically ECU have failures saved, maybe you know a way to
fix it!? I guess it is not a problem att all, MIL is off...

I know that Clio RS Ragnotti doesnt have air cond. and abs
installed, do they have different software on ECU? Does
anyone have this Ragnotti Software, maybe even without
immobilizer (google translation...)

Best regards

Christian

no from the factory the ecu's are the same, the grp N rally cars had an updated ecu file which raised the rev limit to 8000rpm

you could buy the group N ecu, but not anymore, maybe speak to Fastchip and they will be able to help you

Sorry to change the subject slightly, but what steering rack are you using as you have removed the Power steering?

Hello!

I have used Clio MK1 and megane parts for removing Power Steering, it is
fully manual now, no electrical pump...

steering itself is form clio mk1, guess it was 1.4, its allways the same
steering. track rods are from megane, and steering limiters from kangoo.

compared to org. power steering, the manual mk1 steering is about 2 cm.
shorter, so i used longer track rods but have to limit steering angle because
wheels grind on inside. also the steerable rod (sorry fpr this translation)
is too short, like in clio mk1 when you change from power to manual steering!

for removing air cond. and steering pump, i have used a r19 generator
holder, it fits perfectly to f4r lump. i used a stretcher from R5 and
just had to build some kind of adapter so that i can use org. generator.
only thing i have to buy was a new aux belt...

brake cylinder is from VW/audi, its 22mm. cylinder, it has the same
dimensions as org. cylinder, no need to modify anything. brake lines are
also from clio mk1 i just have to shorten the ones in the front...

(my english is not so good, my german is much better ;-))

i would just like to bring back this thread to the main topic anyway.
check this out this is for Clio 3 RS, 197, R27, 200 - Engine. I just found this on k-tecracing.com
not bad for me but there are no user comments on the website. looks like no one tried it yet.

for the A/C i am also planning to remove it. but where will i start? looks like the A/C condenser fan is the most easiest parts to remove. give me some guides or advice please. thanks.
