Clio Sport 197 MK3 - Side Light, Back Lights & Rear Number Plate Lights not working

I have recently purchased a mk3 clio sport and yesterday discovered that my front NS side light, both rear lights and also the rear number plate lights were not working. I believe it's the fuse for that needs replacing but I cannot find the blown fuse. I've checked all the fuses in the fuse box at the driver lower left hand side and also looked at the fuses in the engine compartment but I cannot find a blown fuse anywhere.

Is there another fusebox for fuses for the exterior lights and if so where

I need help cos its driving me mad that I cannot use my new car

You need to look in the UPC. Its behind the passengers headlight underneath a plastic cover. Undo the two torx 20 screws.

When re fitting, make sure the seal on the lid is in good condition.

Sorry to sound thick, but what is a UPC and does this have the fuse for the lights I'm having problems with.

Its the switching and protection unit. Full of fuses. It will have the one for the lights.

Thanks for your help shepperdspie, I found the UPC and when I finally got access to it, (I had to remove an air pipe) it was a 10 amp fuse that had blown. When I replaced it one of the number plate bulbs wasn't working. It looks as though this had blown the fuse.
My only criticism of my clio sport is that the fuse box is in a god awful place. Normally you would find fuses for the exterior lights etc in the cabin not in the engine compartment.

i am also having the same problem but i am a pasanger side light out and my number plate lights aint working neither i havent checked my back lights yet i will have to have a look tomorrow when i am at work at the fuse box in the engine.
