hi all,
got into my cup yesterday went to start all the lights on the dash were working turned the key nothing at all, tried again still nothing,got out locked the doors opened them again started straight away,anyone had this problem before o'r can help?????:S

Immobilser possibly?

Did you leave the car a second with the keys turned (bit not the start on as such) so all the lights went out before tuning the engine over? Thats often the issue.

i might have thought imoboliser as well

i had a fault where the immobiliser would stay on. (the red light constantly lit). Thus not being able to start the car.

it turned out i needed a new battery in the car.

ever since, the problem hasnt re-occured.

With mine I normally have to turn all the lights then off then start in the mornings. Other wise it doesn't start that well.

Batterys don't seem to last long either.

had the same problem, changed my battery, everything went perfect
