Clio Trophy - why the red/orange colour?

Currently looking around for a 182 (midnight blue btw) and while searching about in my price range, i noticed a few Trophys in the search.
While i know they're special edition etc and respect that.... BUT why were they made in that colour?
Its really marmite, i.e love or hate.
If it wasn't for the colour i would get one

When their cleaned and waxed they look awesome!

i think the colour looks mint and it wasnt untill i saw 1 upclose that i noticed this i also think there should of been a white/red alternate colour 2 as in the paint work white and the trophy stickers red.

Unless you're getting a custom paint job fella!

I wasn't too fussed with the colour until I saw one up close, looks very nice IMO. In all honesty, if you drive one after a 182 you won't care about the colour.

You must not have seen one in the metal, on some pics they do look a different colour to red that they are but seriously, ORANGE!!

Loving the colour of the trophy. As someone has already said, distinctively separates the trophy from the other RS spec models.

Arctic blue, good choice mate. Best colour (yes I do have an arctic)

If I were to get one i'd remove the sill stickers too - yeah the one that says trophy, i've never liked it.
