What did he run for the day? Guessing he couldn't get near his 11's for 1/4 mile with that crappy strip?

not sure to be honest i know he was just over 6 secs to 60, and beat the evo on the quarter. If i remember rightly think it was just over 12? there was an old golf there running the same engine apparently which did 0-60 in around 5 secs, cant remember his quarter mile though.

the clio beat the evo on the quarter mile but not to 60, and if i remember rightly it was beaten on the second one by the nissan pulsar GTi-R. I think that was mainly due to the fact he had a mint start and 4 wheel drive though

When i was watching i seen the evo beat matt due to his car backfiring when he pulled away and the gti-r was in the lead 0-60 but when matt got half way down the strip that was it and he had him...

Yeah his car was very impressive and at the start was wondering what he was going to come out against as the marquee was blocking it...when the evo came out i was like "o yes" this should be fun....Shame matt doesnt have 4wd...

Got to be disappointed with 6's for 0-60? Hearing alot of stuff that the timing equipment was shocking etc. Good to see a TB'd 172 getting 5.7 0-60

to be honest mate, you couldnt see that much anyway the resolution is so crap

5.7, have the sheets to prove it. That was by far my best run on that poor surface. The rest of the runs were more like 5.8-6 secs.

The track was piss poor and i couldnt get off the line due to mass wheel spin - i beat both cars to the finish, EVO and the pulsar. You cant drag race on a surface like that

lol 5.7 for an RS-1 and over 6 for a 400+ bhp clio TT.

like i said Clartyboy - bad traction and to much power. Its done a 4.0 sec to 60mph at the pod just to let you know

lol. I saw it run something like 12.5 at donnington so i know its quick.

Its a shame ur scrapping it, but theres only so much a clio can do with that much power i suppose.

Keep it dude and sort out the problems! Doesn't matter about cost because at the end of the day you will have a 400bhp clio which CAN take the power!
