Clio Williams Pages!

Im in the process of making a few pages to have all the information needed about the Clio Williams.

Loads of times I see people asking about them because there really isnt anywhere that has this information all in one place.

Ive only just started so dont have much.. but what I have made is a simple "Differences" page which shows the differences between the Williams 1, 2 and 3.

Im eventually going to redesign the whole page but the information is the going to stay the same which is what I want input on at the moment!

Im definetly going to be adding photos.. to show the difference in grill, mirrors, colour etc..

think ive noticed a difference between the willys!! on the oil temp/pressure/level clock etc the needles are red on the willy 1s dunno about willy 2s but willy 3s defo have white needles!!!!

All Williams have White needles.

Phase1 16vs had red, tho.

daz if you need any help i have all three brochures, so long as you can watermark them, i also have the extra booklet that comes with the willy, i have a scanner so i can scan them on.

btw my mate, the one with the willy2 with nos HAS ABS on his willy 2! so it must have been an extra!

No Williams 2s had ABS, hehe. Only came on Williams 3s.

Maybe it was added after? Didnt think it was an option either,

Rajk, Well, Could you scan me the Williams Booklet? I dont have it! Never got one with mine.. feel left out.

I can watermark, too..

Just been out washing mine, and forgot to add to my email that the Williams 1 & 3 fuel caps are differant.

The williams 3 has a recessed key hole, 1s are flush.


Do i win a prize ?

FATBOY, Yea.. Mats are official.

Ill get the page updated - think I might list the changes between Phase1/Phase2 - the obvious ones anyway.

I could do a directory - of who has what Williams, but past ones seem to be very empty - only a handful of people register them!

Photos, I definetly want - a proper section with detailed photos of all of them.

I think the best Williams resource Ive seen is French.. so, I reckon this could be quite popular, hehe.

when u buy/bought them ie 2nd hand/new do u get the line number ie willy 1 #246 if u do then u could make a database which has gaps for each of the willys ever made then u can spend ur life hunting them down to complete the ultimate willy guide

Daz, start a thread to see who would be interested registering their car, I sure will. Its a good idea if it has history, miles of car etc as it may not be official, but at least its another way to help confirm certain aspects of the cars ownership.

Was thinking more of videos people have made themselves - dont wanna annoy anyone by putting a movie on the site which we dont own/made etc..

When I go 1/4 miling, wanna borrow someones camcorder mount, so I can film some runs.. things like that.

As for the register - can always try it.. but as I said before, they dont seem to be overly popular once the first few have been added.

2 live got all of magazine reviews from the previous owner when he got his car, he has loads of info.

Kelly runs that website with the record of the numbered cars - trying to give them a history.

aye got a boxfull of mags, snippets from mags etc about the willys from original launch.......including revues on the 5 yes 5 that VIZ had as company cars etc etc etc .........all donated by the previous (and 1st) owner of the car..........as well as badges, stickers, etc..........and a 5th williams alloy for a spare.........as well as the spare in the carrier......nice chap he was lol
