Clio16Valver's Rolling Road Day at SRR

Christopher.

I hadn't planned on going to the day but with Fletcher and Tim wanting to go i tagged along, glad i did. Had been to the past 2 events held by the Valver guys before and really enjoyed the different mix of cars. Also with it being a Saturday at SRR almost anything just turns up and Charlie always makes room for them around the others.

Some very nice cars about and a good bunch of guys.

I could only pop along quickly so couldmt stay for more than a few runs, but was good to chat to the few people I did, thanks alot to the organisers.
Was quite disappointed with mine only making 159bhp, 132 at wheels. :(

My first Clio sport event as I am a newbie to the French car thing.
Good bunch of people and some nice cars.
Thanks to the organisers and the guys at SRR.
Didn't get a chance to wash mine before coming down so looked a right shed but was very happy with the result.

How accurate are the rollers there though??
Its standard baring 182 manifold, decat and ktec stealth.
I was expecting around the 160 to 165 bhp which is what I've read they normally make.

Yeah that was me lol
The very dirty/iceberg 172.
But I was of the understand that none of them actually made the claimed 172 bhp. It's a two owner car with low mileage maybe its just a good one!

Ahhh, I was under the impression it was standard. Mileage, zorst, decat and 182 spec (assuming upper and lower inlets) may explain the 10 bhp, mines on a 138k block, and standard everything else. Does have an RS tuner remap tho, which I hoped might boost it slightly.
I'll post up my graph as would be interesting to compare curves.

The inlets are standard 172 non Rs stamped.
It's got a 182 exhaust manifold, decat and ktec stealth that's it. But from whats been posted on here none of them really give you much of a gain.
I have got a Rs turner just haven't got round to sorting it out as I am useless with computers need to get one of my mates to do it. Yeah post it up so we can have a butchers.
Yours sounded a be flat when it was on the rollers do you think the timing is out??

Just seems quite presumptuous. 140k block could have reduced compression. Afr didn't appear very smooth to me. I'm not convinced the cheap ht leads are much cop, imo they were chosen by previous owner cuz they were blue!

Mine was down on power too, Charlie mentioned it was running too rich robbing it of power (232bhp)
Chris at EFI has sent me a lead so I can log the data for him to read off the Adaptronic ECU
