I can't really say anything that hasn't already been said and I heartfeltly echo all of it.

Wales = awesome. Those that organised and made this happen = awesome.

I can't think of a better reason to whack 835 miles on the Cayman across 4 days, the roads/scenery, meeting multiple face-to-face-for-real members for the first time, and that circuit. Loved every minute of it.

Didn't have any issue with track numbers myself, would happily have a few more though. Sometimes it did feel like no one else was out there which I like, but having things to chase make it a right laugh.

I've not reviewed any footage yet because I'm still finishing off editing Bedford from two weeks ago, but if you were on track and I had a tussle with you in any way, I will have good footage of your ass moving about...or as was more often the case, you f***ing off into the distance.

😁 😁 😁

Had a fantastic weekend, thank you very much to the team for organising

I can appreciate the amount of effort that must have gone into it, especially with it being a new venue too.

Was great to catch up with old faces and meet new ones!

Venue was absolutely spot on. Anglesey is absolutely beautiful and I can only hope that next year I'll have a track car to take around.

Missed out on tickets for shedfest due to the lack of signal up bloody north, bit gutted but I guess it’s for the best. I’ve only just sat down properly since leaving home at 3 on Friday.

Made it home by the skin of my teeth, I can’t explain the panic I felt driving through the dark winding roads watching my fuel level drop and stay pinned to 0 for mile after mile passing closed petrol station after closed petrol station. I thought I was doing another night of camping in the focus in a forecourt somewhere. Have to hand it to the car it was pretty faultless all the way up and all the way back and I guess thanks to @Sunglasses_Ron for twisting my arm into turning up. I’m fucked but at least the car done well and had a good run out 😂

In at 2:30 this morning after 4 & 1/2 hour drive, up at 6 to take it to cruise culture quick rinse off with a morissons jet wash ,and I’ve just got back and washed it properly with a face as red as the car 😳

Good effort admin staff, and kudos to the campers for suffering the weather. Genuine thanks for making an outsider feel welcome considering most of you are strangers, next time I’m bringing a track car. And pretty much echo what everyone else has said, good effort all around

Also request to change @JP83 name to campingdad for bringing everything for everyone sleeping in a tent (or a car)😂

You got back at 2:30 and got up at 6 and drove to another show?
Fair f*cking play mate, the car's stunning.

Yeah it was selected in the show and shine of wales’ largest car show dont’cha know! Can’t turn exposure like that down, even if I’m a dumbass for not realising I’d pretty much double booked myself this weekend 😂

Made it though, didn’t win any awards but everyone loves it so it’s worth the effort

No accounting for taste 😂

Thanks, I like when people see the car IRL, videos and pictures just don’t do it the justice it deserves

You did just go full cockney though 🤣 you even had a little Dell boy shoulder shuffle at one point Ron!

As everyone else has said, massive thanks to all the people who made this a success. I've not been to a CSF before so was a little apprehensive, but it was a brilliantly welcoming place and very well run, even the banners at the main gate were just a nice touch and really set the tone for the weekend.

I was another one who felt comfortable leaving my phone at the charging point and jacket and sunglasses in garages while I went out in cars without a worry of them going missing.

Thanks also to @Chode Lint, @The Crumb Master, @Filters, @TRH_Racing and @Call Me Dangerous Dave for taking me out for a good few laps. It's mad to think that for the price of a passenger band that there are so many people willing to just take you out on track as a passenger having never met you before.

Again it really shows the culture of the club and something to be proud of.

You’re lucky I wasn’t there.

Vicegate.

Gone, but not forgotten.

Is there a build thread anywhere for this beast? I hadn't seen anything about it but my jaw almost hit the floor when I got to the front of it lol

If anyone has stayed in North Wales because they are mental enough to travel home on a bank holiday, there is a classic car show in Prestatyn.
It's probably going to be shite but there might be the odd gem.

Just got home and got the proper holiday blues.

I had an amazing time and so did my son. Just had 5 hours in the way home of him telling me what car he’s going to bring to track himself next year and he wants to share a garage with @Brigsy and socialise with @Filters and @DaveDreads all night. 😂😂😂

Wicked wicked weekend, throughly enjoyed myself.

Sadly I killed 6 tyres, spent £400 on fuel and wasted my morning session by being scared and rusty behind the wheel. Thankfully I made up for it in the afternoon sessions and managed to man up. And I loved every second! Even though I nearly wrote off @Sir_Dave ’s Audi and a guys yellow R26…. Whoops. 😂
I was right at home in the PM and I felt I was really pushing the car. The only car I couldn’t cope with was @JB21 ij that MR2. That thing is rapido!! 😂😂

I've already said to the wife I'm not doing any more overtime. If you get it for this or next weekend for next year I'm good to go.
I'll bring my camera, make a home brew of 40 pints of 7+/- % CS special and bring Joseph so he can say hello and thanks for the donations a few years back.

Laura told him if I had the day off yesterday he was coming with me to thank everyone. Unfortunately I didn't manage to get the day off.

For the track people who where out, do we know if there was a photographer there for the day ?
I saw a guy in a yaris taking photos for the day and id like to get some of the car and the sea!

@Sunglasses_Ron would you happen to know?
The guy that came and spoke to me had hundreds and hundreds of photographs on his camera. Including me coming off. 😂

Definitely worth dropping him a message.

Every time I spoke to your lad it just reminded me of being 16 and all the mad sh*t I got up to and people I met, not sure me and @Filters are the best role models though. :ROFLMAO:

Mate it’s got to be said, was well impressed by how nice and polite your lad is! So glad he won the helmet in the raffle, let me know if/when he outgrows it and I’ll hook him up 👍

Just remembered another particularly funny moment 😂

@Call Me Dangerous Dave came over first thing on Saturday morning and said he had just seen @DaveDreads in his car looking pale and lifeless and that the car had zero condensation. He suggested that we might have to change his name to Dave Deads 😂😂😂
Photo courtesy of @JP83 perfect avatar! He did look deadb5f1caa4-686e-4280-8259-687d6c3647b3.jpeg

My only ‘gripe’ was how empty the track was, although I’m not exactly sure whether I can justify moaning about that - especially given the lack of red flags throughout the day.

One of the things with working with a new venue is that some small details get presumed or misunderstood between us and the venue. We discovered about 2 weeks before the event that the numbers we had been working with as maximum cars for each session were not quite as we thought, and we actually could have sold a lot more places on each session (double in fact) if we wanted.

So on the plus side, if we return next year we should have more availability, a slightly more busy track, and the event will be even more financially viable. (y)

We will never go anywhere near the maximum potential numbers as we like to avoid having to queue up and give you all unrestricted access to the track, but now we know there's scope for a few more cars.

Had an absolutely amazing, amazing time. Knackered and need to post more about it tomorrow.

However, one thing I can 1000% say is that everyone I spoke to said how f**king brilliant it was having a quiet track. If you want to roll round with people just go have a chat with them first and all head out together.

We watched a regular trackday this morning and it was rammo, no space, didn't look fun at all tbh. All the slow cars bullied by the fast ones, all the fast ones frustrated.

Massive thank you to organisers for putting on such a superb weekend. Great time with lovely people. 🙏👍

This! The difference in our track action to the lack of track action this morning was comical 🤣

It was that busy today that no one at all got a clear lap whilst we were watching, every single car on track was backed up in to the next 🤣

You could get away with 10/15 more cars to fill up the time that everyone's cooling down in the garage, but any more would kill what we had out there... which was (from my very limited experience) a perfect day on track 👍👌🏻

On behalf of the Scottish lot, thanks for a good weekend and a excellent track day.
Weather was cracking during the track session which made the day for sure. Shame about the howling wind at 2am and downpours which im sure were going back into the sky. We all thought we didn't leave Scotland.

Thanks to all the staff and helpers, that includes you @SunglassesStan (applying for his CBT soon) and @alfiecole (aka Jimmy Toothpaste) for their help and then in the evening and their chat at the decks later on.

Nice to see everyone and we will be back next year.

Suggestion for next year if its at Anglesey, highlight it has a pub at night. Pints where priced well too. Nothing beats proper pints especially when you have lukeish warm beer.
