How many are likely to actually be on the track this year? Realistically I won't be pushing all that hard as a) it'll be my first time, and b) I'd like to have some rubber and pad left at the end of the day.

If the on-track numbers are likely to be fairly low, I'll probably just chance it to be honest and put the £200 towards some consumables afterwards :ROFLMAO:

CSF track time is about as safe and respectful as it's possible to get on a track day (y)

I know you can never say never and I've not been on track but from attending and watching the last couple of years it's been at Anglesey, I'd say chances of something happening are pretty low. There's some times during the day that there's only a handful of cars going round.

This..

It's possibly the most civilised track day you'll ever attend.

Everyone is respectful and observant, if you're faster than someone else they'll move and try to tag on to the back of you.

I think it says a lot about the standard of driving of a club when you're able to run passenger laps without getting held up by traffic. Which helps when you're running wets on a dry track 😂

You'll find most folk are happy to help if you have an issue.
Highly recommend insurance and some instruction if it's your first time 👍

The circuit normally has an instructor on hand, if they don't I'm happy to hop in with you for a few laps

That's definitely the kind of vibe I'm hoping for so all sounds good.

And thank you, might end up taking you up on that offer, we'll see. Will have a watch of your video later, too!

For the track day I've changed the car I'll be driving so the form I filled in will be incorrect. Does that particularly matter until signing on? Or do I need to do something now to rectify? Thanks

What you got mate 👀

I will try and keep the red barge out the way as I’m sure I won’t be the fastest in it. I’m looking forward to be able to drive it faster and harder than I can/allowed on the roads.
Ironically it is the most powerful car I own…from new….210bhp back in 1989.
Tempted to get a set of better brake pads for the front to help.
