  BG 182
Ive just had my windows tinted and the idiot has taken off my cliosport sticker which was on the inside of the car :(

Im going to order another one now.. But i dont know wether to get an interior one or an exterior one?

And where is the best place to put it in your humble opinions ;)

Thanks,
Danni :D

Also ive just gone onto the merchandise shop and i cant seem to find those small stickers? Have they ran out?

Exterior located here:

  M2 Competition
Exterior will take years and years to fade giles.

Interior wont show up very well if you've tinted the windows.

Stickers advertising a club are such a bad idea - if any of you lot have an accident the insurers will scoure this website for everything & anything!

Well the idea is to rip the sticker off then before they see the car.. doesn't take longer than a minute to do so.. =/

EDIT: I dont recall giving me your opinion on exterior or interior matt?

What?? get a grip im sure the insurers have got better things to do than worry about what a sticker says on someones window. An theyv hardly got time to go "scouring" websites either.

a guy on corsasport or somethings insurance was void by the insurance company, as the insurers saw that he had modded it on the website that was in the wondow but it apeared standard when or just after it had crashed.

PMSL,your incredibly naive, I assume you haven't read this then:

To cut along story short he severly injured a motorcyclist on a Honda Type R meet, comments he made on their forum were used against him in court, things that he may have said jokingly or in a different context, they printed the lot of. Very sobering read, I recommend it when you get a chance.

What a post about a guy going to prison for dangerous driving??? whats that gotta do with flippin window stickers or insurance companies. cummon mate stay on subject!!!

That could happen to anyone with or without a window sticker. And i dont see how they can use things hes said on forums against him unless hes been totally stupid and started bragging about driving like an idiot.

f**k me sideways you must be a fast reader to have read all of that allready.

If you have a window sticker it alerts them that you are a member of an owners club, it does not take much to search through your posts, including the planned 'thrash through the mountain roads' or whatever they were doing and things like 'there are some great roads on there, you can really press on'.
Alot of the things said on the forum were said tongue in cheek, however these were misread and taken out of context by the authorities.

Yeh fair enough but if u insist on driving like a t**t and then tellin everyone else where u drive like a t**t then ur just a bit stupid in my opinion, i know plenty of good roads but only through word of mouth. I wouldnt put em up on forums because for example if the police monitored things like this, then they could easily go an stick a mobile camera there an catch u all.

Lads, don't post your crashes, dont post your mods.... or have a sticker......... Hmmmmmmm........

Fair point, but then stickers are also used as advertising, i found out about this site cause i saw a sticker on the back window of a saxo lol. god knows why but i did. but theres no need to talk about crashes and mods really, people just want help with problems like brakes and other maintenance things.

You really havnt got a clue have you? Im not gunna explain in detail but i know 2 people off the top of my head who have lost claims etc.. due to there big mouth/stickers etc... Just warning everyone really

Also to the lad who said just pull it off, at the end of the day they are only gunna investigate if its serious... Chances are you may be unconscious anyway so not much you can do then is there?

Fair play if every little thing is declared but its best to keep things anonymous even if you think your squeaky clean because insurance companys will try there hardest not to pay out especially in dodgy circumstances. Paying someone £6-10 an hour for 2 hours isnt much if its going to save them thousands

Think about things in a little more detail and put things into perspective

So IMO dont bother with a sticker but upto you obviously

i totally agree when it comes to insurance and msg fourms when the rx8 went on fire 4 months ago the main source for all information on the car was from the internet and forums mabey because they were tyring to determin if it was a comon fault or not though!

The way i see it if you have a sticker and dont drive like a right numpty, and dont brag about how you won a octogenarian on a mobility scooter at the local trafic light meet dont worry about it
