Hi,
just bought new coil pack for 1.2 16v 2004 when looking at the old pack the lead seem to fit straight forward except of the last 2 at the cam belt end seems all wrong
the third one is going to the one cylinder nearest the belt(last cylinder) and the 4th one going to the one 2nd last cylinder therefore crossing over each other which seems unusual.
I would expect the lead to follow a logical connection 1-1, 2-2, 3-3, 4-4. as opposed to 1-1, 2-2, 3-4, 4-3 as fitted 1 being the flywheel end. Its a single coil pack using wasted spark system .
I bought the pack as I have a slight misfire on cyl 4 and the leads to cylinder 4 is extremely tight infact it does not fit into the lead clips, I have never seen a HT lead as tight as this .
any advise appreciated before I switch coils
cheers
