Coilovered Mk1, Spare/Track wheels spray up and a few other bits

Just a few updates.

Coilovers are finally on...best £400 (ish) quid I ever spent lol. The suspension doesn't knock anymore, it feels ok to have the car so low as it feels 'comfortable' at the height it's at and I don't have to go round corners slower than a dead granny anymore. It's like a go-kart (Only difference is the ride is slightly harder, but old suspension was dire so I'm loving it!)


I've removed the spare wheel now and that will be being strapped into the boot instead!

Only shot I could get of them as the car is that low lol

Also got this... although it causes a problem as the ignition coil is mounted to the side of the suspension turret so i've heard the coil can be turned upside down...will give that a go today!

The end's now look like this (Nice anthracite with a slight flip in it)

And finally...spare/ track wheels/ quarter mile wheels- thought I'd do them slightly different to normal but think I might of gone a bit OTT and might just spray them all white LOL

Think this is it's swan song now as I've acheieved what I wanted to with it... It will probably be up for sale by the end of the year as I'm happy with it now and the projects 'complete' as such

looks good what make coilovers have u got and how did u get the cage bit out of the boot i have had trouble gettin mine out given upp just removed the cage so far tho any of the car from a distance lowered

Nice mich, about time you fitted them f*****s.

Steels look nice aswell

That strut brace is an RSi strut brace, valver ones are straight from end to end. However the coil as mention just turn that upside down and it should fit fine

Lol Dave, I know, it's only took about 4 months, really wish i'd done it sooner now!!

I no is an RSi one Dave... still unsure about fitting with having the sunroof (as it can cause slight kinks) so we'll see!
