coilovers and brakes upgrades

  XC90, 330d, Trophy’s
just a couple of quick questions if some of the knowledgable dont mind helping out please.

will a set of decent coilovers from a 172 cup fit onto my 182 with cup packs, or do they have totally different mounting points, poundage springs etc etc?

also, brakes.

recently fitted Goodridge braided lines, Motul RBF 600 fluid and DS2500 pads all round ready for a little trackday at Castle Combe.
loved the car but didnt feel like the brakes where confidence inspiring and so now yearn for something ALOT better than i already have.
im sued to big discs and AP 6 pots so the standard setup i was allowing for being slightly less but it had me a little worried a few times,

anyhow, been looking at the Wilwood 4 pot kits on K-Tec's site, ready for our ring trip in a couple of weeks and want to be suitably prepared.
has anyone had any experience with these kits, or able to recommend something of the like that will have me hugely impressed first time please!?

Coilies from a 172 Cup won't fit your Cup Packed 182.... Different bolt spacing.

You can get AP Racing 4 Pots but I've no experience of these or Willwoods.

what you need is proper tyres. Get some cut slicks along with some coilovers and you will have better brakes than standard tyres and 6 pots. If you can get the tyre traction to be so great that you cannot lock your wheels under full braking then a set of 6 pots will be the next logical step.

Kam, Already have track tyres on the spare wheels buddy.

That's why I want to centre my attention towards the suspension and brakes now.
I love big brakes and it's always been on of my first points of call within most things I do.

Just spotted you are reasonably local to myself aswell which could be handy.

AP 4 pots could be a nice feature :)

Edit to add: many thanks to Coby and Dr Jekyll for the replies and links.
