Coilovers on

Clart

Had my raceland ebay coilovers fitted by fred yesterday. First impressions are very good, certainly stiffer than standard but not unbearably so. Get on a bad road and you'll feel the difference though. Seemed easy to fit and certainly sharpens the car up considerably. For £160, they are a proper bargain. Back is wound right down, front are about 1/2 way i think, but could probably do with being a touch lower.

Also had a k-tec supersport stealth fitted. If you drive accordingly its not much louder than standard. If you boot it, well thats another matter, LOUD!

Next up its black bullets and maybe a splitter.

HAHA At the rig up jobbie! - is that a socket wedged in and cabled tied secured to keep the exhaust higher? lol

I like the ride height at the rear but definitely agree that the front needs dropping a bit more (although I have no idea how this would affect the ride quality and whether it'd cause any rubbing). I'm also glad to see that I'm not the only Iceberg owner who can't be bothered to clean it every 5 minutes.

including postage...blimey
thats crazy.

not sure what to say to that.

with regards to rubbing, pretty much the only thing to worry about would be the driveshafts on the chassis

:D

Mine is a bit lower at the front, I think it'd suit yours to be a bit lower as well.

I must admit, I don't know what -1, -2 or -3 looks like to the naked eye, but there is a fair amount of movement. I'll ask when I actually get the car setup.

Yep.

Yeah some one crashed into it when we had the snowy period and kindly left no details to my suprise when i went to it in the morning.

Looks good. Perhaps slightly too high at the front, could be just the pics mind. It'll probably look sweet in the metal.

Weren't on the M1 on Sunday afternoon were you, Clart?

Looking much nicer. It would look better with the front lowered a bit.

I agree about keeping the bullets, just give it a clean and it'll be minter.
