How low does the compression have to go in a cylinder to stop it actually igniting properly?
I know theres loads of variables involved, but generally speaking for say an engine which has about 13 - 14 BAR when running as it should?
Just wondering really as I wasn't sure what sort of pressure drop could occur and not cause a major difference to the running of the engine.
