Conformation on front/rear bumpers looks please

Hi ,,, I want a front bumper like this one http://www.autobra.co.uk/shop/images/Clio00-01.jpg 172/182 I think it is
Come across this bumper on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150383295453&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:GB:1123
The seller tells me he has the front that goes with the rear of above pic.
What I need to know will the front bumper be the one I want “can you tell from looking at the rear” I am trying to confirm this with the ebay user and others things but he takes ages to reply so looking for a bit of help here please.
Also will it fit my clio Grande 1.2 Mk2 Ph1
I know I need to get wings, side skirts and wheel arch liners for this to work.

Not sure if I'm reading this right, but that bumper on eBay is from a mk2 ph2 172 or a 182 and so the front bumper that goes with it will not fit a mk2 ph1 Clio.

The rear bumper will fit, but the matching front bumper won't fit your car.

The front bumper is from a Ph1 172.. The rear bumper is from a Ph2 1*2

The rear bumper is off a different car, the newer style, and is not the correct bumper for car with the front bumper you have shown, BUT they can fit the Ph1..

The front bumper is on cars from - 1998 to Early 2001 (although the Ph1 172 was first produced 2000 I think (I can't remember what year the W reg was on ))
The rear bumper is from cars dated - Mid 2001 > 2006 (I think)

Also are there any other front bumpers simlar to above for my clio

The only front bumper that is like that came from a mk2 ph1 172 (2000 - 2001 iirc). The 182 wasn't in production at this time.

The bumper in the original photo is a standard front bumper made by Renault. Try sending Joshydee a PM asking for the price of a front bumper off a ph-quick 172/mk2 ph1 172/mk1 172/ph1 172 (they're all different names for the same thing) and he'll probably have one in stock.

im a bit new to Clio’s ... but is there anything else nice for the front of my car. You won't be able to fit a standard V6 bumper to your car, but there are a few after market ones out there that look like them they just aren't as wide.

Any one know for any nice ones please,, it dont have to be wider, just want something to look like the others in the links i posted, just want it to look a bit more meaty. If any one could post some link so i got some names/prices of the bumpers and where i can get them I will be very grateful.

You're going to struggle to get anything to fit your car other than the bumper in your first photo, or some tacky aftermarket job, doj. There's no way that you will get the bumper from a mk3 Clio (like the one in your last post) to fit you car. Not just the RS model - any mk3 bumper will not fit.

I'd speak to Josh and see how much he wants for a ph-1 172 bumper and front arches etc and go from there mate. Everything else will be a bodge job and/or look naff.
