Congratulations to Heather Calder ..... crowned last weekend as the 2017 MSA UK Sprint Champion. Driving a 3.5 litre V8 Gould GR55 she hit 170 mph at Knockhill last weekend and she is the first female Sprint champion for 47 years.

Sorry I don't have a lap time ..... There is a video of her on the Knockhill facebook page where they say her speed was 'over 170 mph'. Incredible to hear her going through the gears so quickly ....

I'm pretty sure those sprint cars lap in the low 40's lol. They're mental wee things!

Good stuff! I remember chatting to an ex-F1 Benetton car owner at Anglesey and he said he could nudge 180 on the back straight there. Crazy speeds.
