corroded brake discs

  172CUP/Fiesta supersport
my 53 plate cup has only covered 14000 miles and I still have 2yrs warranty left as I was given the full 3yr warranty when I bought it 1 year ago having only covered 7500 from new. The thing is all four discs are badly corroded!! the fronts only on the inside so I never noticed until I had the wheels off recently but the rears are totally humped. The question is do I have any chance of a warranty job on this? as it is purely down to corrosion and not wear. p.s the pads have loads of meat left.

cheers

no chance

do you actually drive your car???;) you need to give it a hard thrash, that'll get rid of the rust! (seriously)

sounds like u dont do many miles in it so i reckon corroded discs is pretty normal. mind u without abs u dont really want to be slamming the brakes on to try and clean them!

the corrosion on the front discs is not surface stuff as I think you seem to be assuming but more like large pits all over the inner side of the disc.
