Cracked Rear Disc After 4 Weeks?

  Impreza Wagon
As title I fitted brand new OEM discs and pads on the rear and today someone noticed a crack all the way down one of them! Main suggestion is a sticky piston which has caused the disc to heat up excessively? When I wound them back in it was a little tight but not bad.

Any ideas?

wind them back and forth a few times. Makes sure the caliper is free to move on the sliders as often they get a little stuck and need freeing up.

The nut controls the preload in the bearing if its done up too tight it will cause the bearing to run hot and that heat will add to the heat in the disk. Not the most likely cause but can still be a contributing fact.
