Crap, unfixable puncture in brand new PE2

Massive bolt through my PE2 which was fitted about a month ago and done less than 1000miles. Unfixable, bigger than M6 thread.

Kwik fit quoted £140 for a PE2 lol I said ehhhh do you price match cause that cost me £78 from Costco! they're phoning costco to check the price and match it.

Grrr how annoying.

The swines. That is bad news. I had a slow puncture and it rubbed my side wall and i needed a new tyre.

price matched, £81 fitted and balanced and will be ready within an hour. Just saved £60 but on the other hand, just wasted £130 (balancing and alignment getting done too).

Oh well s**t happens, just frustrating cause the tyre was so new!

You didnt fall for the old Kwik-fit "your tyres are wearing unevenly, you need an alignment" ploy did you?!

Dont toss the old tyre out though, it can be vulcanised and used as a spare

nah my alignment hasn't been checked for 2 years lol so it was due! And I don't think costco balance them very well so I wanted that done too.

I'm going to try and get the bolt and see if my neighbours skip has anything similar in it and drop it into conversation one day lol, t***s have been causing a nuisance with building work for almost a year now.

I had a nail going through the side-wall on one of my PE2's. Bloody thing was only three weeks old at the time!

How come you never seem to get punctures in a tyre thats due for renewal , it always seems to happen in a good or nearly new tyre ? Bloody Murphys law

only my 2nd puncture in 34k miles, can't complain too much I guess lol still annoying, had a wee bit extra cash for overtime this month, not anymore! lol

I woke up this morning with some glass in my tyre. Good thing is the other 3 tyres are new and this one was the one that needed changing so lucky me that it was that one.
