Crash :(

Sting.... looks like a combo of going to fast and didgy pradas. Def not the best tyre for the job.

Get back on PE2's or F1's

Nothing wrong with Prada's. I'm running skinny 195's on mine and have no trouble putting the power down in the wet. End of the day its how you drive in the wet which decides if you stay on the black top or not.
There will always be people that get on or don't with certain tyres, but if you look at the tyre choice thread, there are plenty of people with lots of experience saying the parada's aren't great in the wet.

yeah brand new parada's dont like wet roads.. one thing i've learnt..

Brand new tyres don't give their best grip for a fair few miles no matter what make they are.

Sorry to see the damage, know how you feel - I wanted to throw up when I got out the car and saw the damage to mine a few years ago. Rebuild it faster! ;)

Unlucky mate, i feel for you, know what its like, i lost the back end of mine on a tight left hander in january in the wet and hit a wall.Luckily didnt have to claim got it done for £570. Although the paint job on the bumper is sh*te got to have that resprayed soon will be circa £150

Will you lose your ncb or is it protected? I'd be nakcered if i lost my ncb, well havnt got any ncb yet but i mean if i have a fault claim, will be no 1*2 for me if i do anyway.

loose half of my no claims bonus so left with 2 years.. not so bad i suppose :( will find out monday whats happening with it so fingers crossed! get it back in time for its photoshoot!

Atleast its not a write off! Im sure it'll be whineing around B roads again in no time.

Harsh mate-both the car & your 750 excess:dead:

Glad you walked away ok.

Thats sorry to see mate, love that mini! From one mini owner to another i hope it gets fixed asap and you can get back on your mini adventure soon! Yes cheesey i know :rasp:

gutted m8, glad they have not wrote it off ,Jcc do good work m8 ,we deal with them alot at work, have seen there work it is good.

cheers everyone, will find out for definate tomorro so fingers crossed :)

Addz check my previous posts paradas did exactly the same thing to me, i feel for you bud!!!

These things should come with a warning like, caution serious chance of death in wet weather

i was doin the speed limit (50) went road a corner and the rear just over took then i shot of the side of the road dropped about 15 foot n hit a tree!! bit of an eye opener

Yeah was in mansfield on earkring road, heading towards the crossroads where the hoover shop is, lost it on the corner and took out a parked transit and a escort :quiet:

Don't know were that is lol. Any bigger places that you can mention which is near there?

Sorry to hear about the car though, not very often I take mine out in the wet.

in forest town if you go past the ravensdale pub on your right hand side, just off the left when you get to the lights

nope not yet.. will find out tomorro when it gets to just car clinic :(

Not good :(

But nowt wrong with Parada's IMO - 215s on my Ibiza for over 10k miles and great tyres - predictable rather than being grip, grip, grip, nothing.
