EK9 + Mfactory gearing..
thought id post a couple of pics, cars been off the road for a couple of months, big thanks to Andy & the GDI gang, had a few niggles to sort, the Emerald ecu causing the most problems, overfueling (cutting out over 3k) and not having enough adjustment really, Emerald sent Andy stuff to try & crack it, plenty of laptop rage but all sorted now! due to the lack of room in the bay causing more problems it was off to Pro Alloy for its crimbo prezis..new custom rad, intercooler (capable for 5/600bhp) & all pipework, then back to GDI for a few tweaks. it really is a rocket, had plenty of fun on the way home, most amusing was an rx8 sat on my bumper on a slip road, a dot in my rearview a few secs later, only a newish skyline just seemed to have the edge when i booted it in 5th. next up is meshing out the number plate area for better cooling & mount a smaller plate to the right, got a HID conversion to replace the candles also. when i think of the £ i spent on the 172, this puts a serious smile on, even tho its a mk1 with more rattles than an old rusty money box.
