Cup alternator set up fitting problems

Trying to get this fitted to the car,the garage have done the tricky part of moving the pas pump and lines about,but when it came to fitting the cup alternator found the the connections don't match up,is this normal,if not is there a way round it the guy I got the set up off said it fitted on his car no problem so I am a bit baffled please help don't want to have to buy another alternator.

I've swapped my old one and it used the same plug wiring?

Yes Fred all sorted now,think it was due to the alternator not being oem just had to change the the plug on the dash lead to a ring terminal.Got it all done and the pressure switch has now gone,guy said he can weld it up as opposed to buying a new sensor for 100 bucks.

yeah don't worry about the PAS switch, they don't do much anyway LOL!

I used a 30p dome head nut to cover that up

It turned out that it was just loose all sorted now but thanks
