Cup packs or not?

I no thier is alot of confusion over these whcih pack is which blah blah.

But reading a thread yesterday i think my car both have cup packs on which i never knew about, so some confimation would be great.

I was reading up on the cup packs last night, i know the anthricate alloys denote a cup suspension also a different spolier, ok someone could of added the alloys but i dont think they have.

Also what is the other cup pack?

Could i ring renault and ask them or wouldnt they give me that info?

Thanks

I cant see a splitter on your car, which is part of the cup pack, but it may have just been removed.

Rear spoiler is the other one, slightly 'bigger' than normal.

When i went to fit my fabia splitter, there was previous holes and also a standard screw left in so am thinking it had one. i forgot my flickr account so making a new one will post a btter pic.

So you think that spoiler is a standard one?

Grey wheels are 1 cup pack (suspension)

Splitter and spiler were the other pack, pretty simple.

That's a cup spoiler mate. Check the bolt spacing on your front hubs to see if it's definitely cup suspension. 60mm spacing = cup. 54mm = oh dear!

Or look at it and see it has anthracite wheels?

cheers guys,

So i have the alloys, spolier, and previous holes in the bumper so looks good on both cup packs.

how do you check the hub spacing?

Cup Suspension- upgraded springs which sit the car lower 8mm & anthracite alloys- ( If you didnt spec this you get standard susp & bright silver alloys)

The alloys are the cup pack.

Jack front up, whizz a wheel off and there's 2 bolts connecting your suspension strut to the hub. Measure the gap between the centres of these 2 bolts.

As gally said, the alloys are the cup pack.

But check by all means for your own peace of mind :)

found some information:-

'Cup' chassis upgrade
The option involves a 3mm lower ride height, spring rates up a further 20 per cent at the front and 15 per cent at the rear, and even tricker Michelins plus 'Anthracite' colour wheels.

With higher spring rates at the front, the 'Cup' suspension is firmer and provides more responsive behaviour. These modifications are complemented by the adoption of tyres of an extra-stiff structure. Steering response is thus more direct, with a more incisive front suspension.

'Cup' spoiler pack
Also enhancing driving efficiency are the flexible lower leaf of the front bumper(Splitter), and the larger rear hatch-mounted spoiler, providing greater downforce and aerodynamic refinement.

Jeez, someone should make some sort of awesome guide to help people out with these cup pack things

Looks like a cup packed 182. Just check suspension struts to be sure.
If youre going to lower it, you would wish you had the non cup packs, better coilover choice.

3mm???? Why not save yourself the ££££ and get a fatty to sit in your car. Renault rip off.
