How would it be possible to do something like this...

...for my clio track day car. Obviously the car is not used on the road :nono:

Was thinking of using something like this...
GLOID.gif

from here http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/products/ProductDetail.asp?cls=MSPORT&pcode=GLOID150-75

Or even this http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/products/ProductDetail.asp?cls=MSPORT&pcode=MSD7030 if i wanted to push the boat out for maximum air intake.

The hardest bit would be cutting the glass. How the hell would i do that???

A lot of messing about, just run a normal caf in from behind the grill or where one of the fog lights sit, and i dont think its glass, plastic i think.

Yep dremel mate you get glass and plastic bits for them. what i would do first maybe is to mark the area out and drill small pilot holes all the way around the edge of the cut out and than using a hand saw with open tip to cut around or use the dremel on it. making tinypilot holes helps you not slipping and also helps not craking or shattering the cover.

I've done it already, I'll get some pics up when I've finished it.

Aw wicked mate! How exactly did you do it? Like how did you cut it out and did you use one of those inlet duct things like i posted from demon tweeks?

i used a dremel or a hack saw blade the plastic is fine for cutting out.
the top one i used two of the cup racer ducts cut the ends of them and stuck em together to make one big one then alot of fibreglass and filler to make it look half decent. and the bottom one is just a normal cupracer duct like the pic at the top.
i made the big one intially but then thought if i want to run in the ex clio cup champiojship ive gotta have one of the smaller ones so i went and nabbed one from work.
