custom straight exhaust pipe no cat etc will it work ?

thin king no box of baffles just litterally straight pipe from manifold to exit will this work or cause me problems as no backpressure there ?

it will sound s**t. Thats the biggest problem and the fact that it will be a beacon for traffic cops from 100 miles away. high gas speed is the real important factor for normally aspirated engines. Backpressure is just a byproduct.

when my exaust rusted through it sounded like an animal just straight pipe ? so surely if i take the risk of cops etc i shud not loose any power with just the straight scafolding pipe lol?

on my 1.2 16v mk2 i had the k-tec supersport and custom decat, and got no end of dirty looks and what id call harasment being stoped 3 times in a week. not worth it in my opinion and at motorway speed i had to shout at the passanger.
