Mk1 1.4RT
Bloody thing!
All was going well until i came to the rear left bleed nipple, the third in the sequence. It was a bit stiff so i WD40'd it and left it whilst i tinkered with other bits. Still wouldn't budge so i gave it some more and tried to undo it, eventually it budged! Just in the wrong sense, it snapped clean off.
They're drum brakes, the Bendix variety, anyone have any experience with snapping a bleed nipple on these? I've been told by Seaward Renault that if i can buy a replacement nipple, this true?
Any idea how I would go about removing the snapped bit? Theres nothing left sticking out.
Tis frustrating as the pedal is feeling rather better now! Want the rest bled.
Cheers guys
Phil
