De-cat etc? mk1

in all fairness im just trying to get my baby engine to give me as much as it can, being a 1.2 its not got much chance of impressing me haha but being 18 an having a first car insurance is a cnut.
is it worth getting a de-cat and is silenced the better option.
ive got a peco 3" back box an usual induction.

also superchips garage near me lists the 1.2? worth the money?

I would say go with the normal de-cat and see how it goes, if you find perhaps it's too loud and boomy, sell it, cut your losses and buy the silent de-cat.

De-cat is the best bang for buck mod on the car, so defo worth it.
