Dealer’s scratched my dash!

  Arctic Blue 182

My CD player has suddenly refused to eject my disks for some reason, so took it to G. Lambs, Chesterfield in my lunch hour yesterday to see if they could fix it while I waited. The bloke off the service desk took the head unit out, and took it into the service dept, where he returned having got the disk out. Ive got to take it back in on Saturday so they can have a better and longer look, and poss send it off to Reno. After leaving Lambs, I notice that while he was messing around unclipping the leads from the back of the head unit, that hes rubbed it along the bit of dash that surrounds the radio, and had made several gouges. Its made a bit of a mess, but I dont know whetther its enough of a mess to complain about it. Its annoyed me as the trip has proved useless now, because its got to go back Saturday!!!

They will deny it of course...

Just like a block of wood wedged between the engine manifold and heatshield

COMPLAIN!

my head unit did the smae on the way to trax, the way to get the disc out was to empty the multichanger and then ask the head unit to play and then eject, worked a treat, still got a new headunit out of renault. make sure its a seaspray coloured one to match your dash and not a BLACK one!

Heyup Jay!

That big muscley Richard off the front desk. Seems like a really nice bloke. Was very helpful, but, as you can see, not very careful.

Phoned them up and theyre denying that they scratched it, as I was in the car with them. Thing is, I didnt notice it til I was on my way back to work, and I couldnt turn back because I was on my dinner hour and didnt want to be late.
