What would you consider a good price. What is a decat? Have you looked at one - then review their quote and thats your answer.

IMHO - £88 for a straight bit of pipe is a f**king rip off.

imo, i paid £120 for mine, but i wanted a quality job, good welds etc.. no point buyin the cheapest one you find if you are constantly back getting it sorted.. £88 seems good if it includes fitting if you ask me

beg to differ Ali, I guess it depends on which dealer you go to, but my powerflow system is the best one I've tried, had absolutely no problems with it... oh, and my decat only cost me £60 fitted. few people on WC have them and have had no problems at all

Yer, depends on the fitter.

Comes with full warranty as well.

£88 seems a reasonable quote, yes it is only a peice of pipe, but they have to manufacturer it to fit the car; will take about an hour.

Remember some garages charge £90 labour before any parts, so think about it that way.

yer ive been to power flow in leeds for my magnex aligning , few of me mates have had zorsts done there , fella that does em seems allright , and he knows what he`s doing.

just make sure when they do a decat pipe u get it with the ends that can be unbolted, and not welded onto yer system

depending on the exhaust it'll either sound like a tractor, or a dodgy 747 on pulloff. wouldnt go for a decat myself, as even k-tec have found it causes the 1.2 to idle erratically. but it depends what you want
