deisel decat anyone experience it

Was at amd today and I spoke to a bloke who had a cupra diesel and was having a decat fitted! Anyone know is this leads to bad smoke and dodgy emmisions supposed to sound funny too. I had my old punto decattd it sounded great and burbbled lovely doubt this would be the case with my diesel. I've heard cats restict diesels quite a bit too

is it a cat or a particule filter? Yeah must fr or cupra tdi guys go for a mufflerectmy too but imo they sound crap.

decats can give excellent gains on the dci, about 8bhp vincent got from his! I don't think smoke would be that much of a an issue if you had it mapped. Its worth doing but you've got to watch it MOT time, people say some pass some don't bit of a lottery.
