I had fun yesterday. Buy vantage you no you want to haha its a lovely waxHad a play with some products today with @Kyle 86
Tried a sample of britemax vantage wax, incredible firm wax but once worked into the applicator it was very oily and easy to spread, quite deceptive. Still undecided on it
Washed my car down wearing 2 month old Sonax polymer net shield and it was beading as well as a nano sealant on rinse down. Might be rubbish to apply but it's very durable and keeps the car cleaner than normal. Kyle trialled it on a few panels so interesting to hear his thoughts after a few months
Their in Billericay (Radford way)Just discovered bilt hamber are Essex based. Another reason to give them a go, their laboratory is even closer
Never got a chance to use the strata coating before the weather turned. Next spring hopefully
See they always lasted for me. I loved PH.
Just from the beading thread.
Migliore Strata Sealant. One of the most impressive products I've used in recent years. Majorly Un-used against the big boys.
On a dirty car...
It sure did!! Cheers for that chap :up:I used put around 5-6 layers on the Toledo over a couple of days and it's used to look as good as the likes of illusion but with proper durability.
I did @cat171 V6 today with 2 layers topped off with reload. Looked stunning.
Look at you, caught the detailing bugWill be giving the clio a few coats of Purple Haze. If nothing else it smells nice.
He's a detailer and he 'a been using NEAT Tfr??! Holy moly. For real?
And a leather chamois, was wondering if fluffy drying towels are a fad. He's a detailer and he 'a been using NEAT Tfr??! Holy moly.
I use Trafalgar tar and adhesive remover. It's just as good as tardis and about half the price.
Get it on eBay.
what alternative tar removers are available and as effective as Tardis?
was going to give gtechniqs tar remover a go but its out of stock 😧
whats meguiars, auto finesse, carpro, valet pro ect like?
I've used flexi white hex pads mate side by side with CG ones. They seen more robust imo.Anyone used these pads? They're different to my hex logic pads, more of a rounded edge etc...
No TFR is TFR.is that the TFR?
The panels are bloody huge! Especially the bonnet. Lol!
I started about 10 and finished around 4 mate.. It's not perfect but it's a huge improvement! The paint was so flat, I can only assume it was cleaned with a brick in it's earlier life.
That's a brilliant effort for that time scale on that size of car!
Don't suppose you had time for any 50/50s or any before's did you? Dark colours are so rewarding.
Nice of them to let you play for so long. My female would've gone nuts haha
And best of luck to you working in this weather haha.
I left mine at home and went down to my parents in Bournemouth for a few days haha! She wasn't impressed so I will face the music when I go back home tomorrow haha!
