Decontaminating paint, what do I need? Do people still use clay? Recommendations please guys.

Is Iron X still recommended? If so, where's best to buy it? This mini I've bought needs sorting big time. The paint almost feels rough in places it has so much crap on it.

If you wanted to buy everything in one place i use Polished Bliss.

The Gyeon range is very good. Gyeon Iron and Gyeon Tar work well as does their clay.

Can anyone recommend the best product(s) to use on newly refurbished/powdercoated wheels to preserve them and protect?

Thanks.

Depends how time consumining you want it to be.

Gyeon Rim is a ceramic coating, lasts 12+ months. Needs a bit of prep to make sure everything is clean and oil free.

or Finishkare FK1000P hi temp sealant. Goes on like a wax, lasts upto 12 months, but probably best to reapply every 6.

Looking at buying some Auto Finesse Aqua Coat - used Hydro2lite before and I assume it's similar to this? (My 1L Hydro2lite has gone all cloudy with white bits floating in it - is it still any good lol?) Do you use this kind of product (aqua coat) after applying a wax paste/spray wax? I would likely do as follows:

Paste wax/creme wax (currently have bilt hamber finis wax/auto finesse radiance)
Spray wax (Zaino Z8)
Aqua Coat

Is this correct or am I going horribly wrong?

Do you keep the Hydro2 outside wheres it’s cold? My PH neutral snowfoam does the same it’s just because it’s cold[emoji23]

It's been in a very hot room and then outside in the cold, best of both lol! Probably why it's fucked it!
