Tyre dressing, shiney.

Have been using autosmart hi style, it’s ok!. Don’t want the megs stuff. Any other recommendations and not silly money?

I really rated this stuff. Not as shiny as megs but it gave the tyres a really good look that lasts for ages. It’s like it nourishes the rubber.

From memory it lasted quite a while. Is very thin and spreads well.

What's wrong with megs endurance gel?

Ive been using Chemical Guys new look trim gel for years. It doesnt last long on trim but lasts really well on tyres, as long as they are clean...

Gyeon Tire lasts bloody ages, not that it matters if you wash it weekly.

With the Megs stuff, I always found it slung really badly if I applied it and drove straight away. If I left it overnight, it was a bit better. Some would probably say I overapplied probably.

Applied it last weekend to the rear. That’s after a rinse and wash today. It’s not a wet application sealant you need to spray and wipe to remove.

Always used megs stuff and buffed it off to avoid splatter but decide to try Gtechniq T1 as it gets good durability ratings and is a less glossy finish which is what I wanted. Not used it yet though but apparently a small amount goes a long way.

Spray apc or even wheel cleaner on tyres and then jet wash off. Serious geeks use a cellulose sponge and scrub tire but a jet wash works for me

G101 and a stiff brush works for me.

What snowfoam are people using nowadays? Just ran out of my 5L Magifoam from back in 2012!!

Autofinesse Avalanche, does the job and cleans a bit with it having an essence of their Citrus Power pre cleaner in.

No where near as good as the premium stuff (per ml) but the price means you can use 5x as much.

Probably has it’s place on wheels that haven’t got caked on stuff. Or a car that you don’t care about being perfect but like it cleanish

Yeh have the same bottle in the shed. I like it and use it regularly
