Blackhole is a very good Glaze mate but also has chemical cleaners in it, for example if you was to use black hole first then triple on top of each other you would be removing the benefit of using black hole as triple would remove the glazing oils of black hole...what I usually do when i use blackhole is to cover it with a wax of my choice a natural carnauba one would be best as it will just offer protection over blackhole and lock in the finish that the blackhole glaze had achieved previously...

Will wax it next time, thanks for the advice 👍

Looked great but you just doubled your work.

Triple is a more complete version of a glaze.

You've slightly double filled so happy days. Did you seal it in or wax it?

Black hole by machine is fantastic. Triple by hand is fantastic by machine and hand.

Triple and wax over is a great combo that lots of people use.

Loads of easy good one to try if you fancy splashing the cash.

The G3 paste wax looked good on mine. There was a cheap deal that people got on board with. Not sure how much it is now. Recommended though.

Have a practically new 200ml bouncers sherbet fizz. Will be looking at 27.50 including a trio application pad.

Google the reviews ref how good it is.

I posted this in my project thread, but thought it would be rude not to include here -

•CarPro Essence via machine (this was a few months ago mind but not been driven) and Reload on top
•AF Revive on the plastics
•Gyeon Tire

Unfortunately my phone camera seems to make the sun shots quite hazy but it looks better in reality.

Featuring my Snappy retrimmed wheel, installed back in December but covered only about 40 miles since -

So many good ones. Z6 and z8 depending on occasion.

My new daily is definitely this inifinity wax one, looking forward to hearing more people's thoughts on it...

Got it last week because I read your positive experiences and I have to say, it's very slick and the way it flashes off is mighty impressive!

I feel there's less wiping involved compared to Done and Dusted.

What do you use it for, just remove small marks and dust? Does it add any protection?

Actually it's surprisingly durable. It's a wipe down product. So maybe after washing mostly.

It's a quick detailer sorry. I keep saying wipe down but really that should be for iOS and ceramic coating etc. They are final finish products. The last step or in between waxing etc.

How do you choose to apply them? Ive only seen the quick detailers that you spray on and rinse off

That's not a quick detailer. Let say you have washed and dried the car. Impossible not to end up with water droplets. Finger prints maybe. Or just a final wipe down before a show or putting it in the garage. A quick detailer is the last step. Just a final wipe down.

Research them. Detailing world is an encyclopedia of knowledge.

I've just bought a di vessel and have to admit it's near spotless!

Very strange though to let your car stand in the sun, soaking wet, after you've rinsed it.

Did use the rapid detailer again and it's quickly becoming my new favorite.

Don't mention the DI Vessel, I got shot down last time for saying it was one of the best things I've bought, waste of money compared to a drying towel iirc 🤷‍♂️ 😂

Haha it's not about time for me tbh, I don't rush washing the car anyway.

I can't wash in the shade so always have water spots if I don't dry instantly. This removes the need for towel drying, which is another step of inflicting possible swirls removed from the wash process.

And let's not start about the money.. Because then I think I can get rid of most of my detailing equipment and practically all of my waxes!

Same.

Water round here is hard asf. Any kind of heat, even in the shade, the car starts drying with water spots. Di Vessel stops this. Also helps afterwards, I can just let it air dry while I do the interior.

Do you use DI water for filling your buckets? I'm looking at getting one of those water fed poles for the windows as well now.

I'm already looking forward to doing a winter wash in half an hour without the need to dry!

I don't use it for the buckets as it'd have to be cold water and my girly hands couldn't cope with that. I use it for everything else though and the resin has lasted for ages so far!

I was going to get one of them too but I wasn't sure about water pressure to get to the top windows.

Haha fair enough, I can relate to that!

Water pressure is insane here, I can almost rinse the neighbors cars across the street with an open hose..

Sonax is decent. I recommend the gel they do for trims etc. The bottle lasts ages and the product is good. I've tried a few over the years and will just use this now.

That's actually not true. It's just an expensive item with filters that most folk don't require. Of course it works. It's a great thing.

It also wasn't a drying towel it was a dryer for the car. Not cheap either but helped all the water traps etc.

Saw this on DW.

Brilliant to have so many different colours but they seem expensive?

Any experience with them?

I've just bought some tiger cloths from in2detailing, 380 gsm, dual pile and 1,20-1,50 each. Altough the second cheapest I've tried they seem fine?

For 4,96 you can get a 1220 gsm supersaurus cloth as well, ultimate luxury feel!

(I know they all have different uses ;))

They're green now but yes they aren't too bad! Bit expensive for dirty jobs though and maybe not as soft and thick as I'd like for the paintwork. So not sure what to use them for yet.

I'm intruiged by the paragon cloths!
Very thin, warp knitted, ultra split, 5,60 each and used extensively by hair salons across Europe?!

In2detailing website is shocking but the products are really good.
The microfibres are good.
