LOOKing for a finishing pad, not 100% on colours but a red maybe, usually the liquid is enough to cut if there’s no swirls and refine it enough

Hi, looking for suggestions for the following please?

1, best way to clean door sills etc, I currently wash the car, dry and then open doors and use damp towels to wipe sills down. Not sure if this is best as I seem to get scratches on door sills.

2, best cloth/brush for cleaning tight spots on wheels eg between spokes and around wheel bolts? Also best cloth for drying these bits too.

Cheers!

You should also wash the door shuts, I do all shuts first.
I love the green drying towels that Carpro sell and they do 2 sizes. Woolie wheel brushes are good and also yhe EZ detailing brushes but it all depends on how much you want to spend? Just buy a 1" round brush for the wheel bolt area's

Thanks for the advice, TBH it had never occurred to me to wash the door shuts first! I tried washing after but then water drips inside the car prior to drying! I could do with something to dry in between the spokes etc too, will defo get one of the inch woolie brushes to clean in between though. Cheers!

Both my Carpro Marino and microfibre mits are deteriorating more than expected, I've tried soaking in Inside what other options could I try.

One of these, I use the red one on the lower parts of the car and the blue on the upper bits.

Next up, remove these tints. What do I need to do? Heat? Whats best for the sticky stuff it will no doubt leave behind?

So Bradford 😂

Not sure on the removal of the tints, however for the sticky stuff I would have thought Tardis would be ideal.

It couldn't be more if it tried. But it was cheap, hence it being on my drive. Its embarrassing.

Remove tints and silver wheels needed asap. I think I actually have some tardis somewhere.

In terms of the mitt? Does it smell bad? Like it's rotting? If so there's your problem.
How are you storing it?

Hi! I'm sure this has been asked before... Anyone knows how to remove the sticky shape of my 182 door handles? I've tried to clean them with APC without no result 😅

Any ideas? Thanks!

Nice car mate.

Not convinced the 19" wheels work with the mineral grey? I think it looks better on the winters. Will wait to really judge until its been to Jim's in Jan.

Needed some exterior gel so took a punt on the sonax, 9.99 from amazon.

No idea on durability but it looks good and easy to use etc.

Not my car.

The sonax stuff seems decent, that and you only need a really small amount. Not too concerned if it only lasts a few weeks as the tube will last months.

And r222 cleanser with odk glamour working well too

Did you not fancy soloution finish? Or dlux? The thing with dlux is, you're applying a product anyway, why not just do it once.

Our new Audi is red and the paintwork seems very flat with very swirly paint, I could do with recommendation of a polish and pad combo to remove. Do I then need some kind of sealant too?
