detailing new paint

  05 182 clio.ktm duke
I was going to give my 182 a good clean ready for the winter a couple of weeks ago,

WASH
CLAY
WASH
MEGS CLEAN/POLISH/WAX

Then a dumb women reversed into the front of my 182. Anyway it is now repaired and has a new front bumper and new bonnet with fresh black gold paint, am I right in thinking that fresh paint should not be polished/waxed for a while?

Ask the bodyshop/painter - if it has been baked properly you may be fine to seal/wax it. Some places will say to leave it to cure for 14, 30 or even 60 days in some cases.

Polishing is fine as it will have probably been polished already after painting.
