Just had a look on here and more specifically on the project section, I cant believe the lengths some people go to with detailing, I wish I had that much dedication!!! lol

One guy was ready to take back his brand new Astra VXR just because it had a few overspill spots when he picked it, its a great read but well OTT!!!! lol

Yeah thats the guy, dont get me wrong the car is awsome but surely he cant do much else than dote on his motor!!!!

The engine bay is a master piece, must have cost him a fortune!!!
 
I'm on there a bit. VERY VERY Sad. And alot of contradictory advice. Very easy to spend a fortune on poor advice. That said there is also alot of professionals on there and the Studio is an awesome place.
 
It is amazing the lengths some people go to and I guess if its your job then you have to but wow I thought I was OCD on detailing my car.


Now i feel normal :) lol
 
Haha, its unreal how he spots the slightest little inperfection!!!

He must be scared to drive it outside incase a seagul s***s on it!!! lol
 
I love detailing world but personally I had the urge to punch mark vxr for being such a r****d
 
im also hooked on it. Agree about ''the studio'' ali. Some stunning work in there
 
Pretty sure his thread will have been on nearly every forum!

I like that website, loads of useful information, guides and reviews on products. Also love reading the showroom/studio threads.
 
i thought i was bad, but some people take it to another level, a guy at work said he couldnt sleep the other night so he waxed his clio at 1.30 in the morning, i just looked at him wierd

Agreed. End of the day it's still a forum, some people know what they're talking about, others don't. There's always some magical new product out that you HAVE to have too!

I think someone who details a 13yr old polo and writes up everything down to how he refitted number plates has far too much time on his hands!
 
Im going to have to read over the VXR thread again, I cant believe how much of his life that car must take over!!! lol
 
His dubai adventure was a great read if you can find it.
Shiek flew him over iirc.
