firstly id like to thank Mike172Sport

anyone who wants to change the colour of them needs to be good with a soldering iron.

it looks like that the dials and needles will have to be the same colour.

for a start you need a T10 torx bit to remove the screws that hold it together as shown here:

then the dials will unclip to reveal the circuit board:

Is there a film on the back of the dials that gives them the orange colour or did you have to change the leds?

the orange colour is given by the leds

How many are there? Cant make it out on the picture. Was it just a case of heating up the solder to remove the old ones? Where did you get your new ones from and got any pics of the dials with the leds lit up?

i got these dials off mike172sport so i could practice on first(and for the white needles)

there are 10 SMT leds (http://www.rapidelectronics.co.uk/rkmain.asp?PAGEID=80010&CTL_CAT_CODE=30316&STK_PROD_CODE=M29417&XPAGENO=2like these)

ive ringed the ones that need to be changed

The pictures of the blue dials that were posted the other week look rather nice!

I suppose it depends on the colour of your car, and the colour scheme inside.

yeah i was thinking maybe different colours for the different dials.
