Difference between 172, Cup and non RS Hubs?

  TVR Cerbera
Can anyone tell me the difference between 172 ff, 172 Cup and the non RS hubs are? as in distance between mounting holes and distance between tubes and holes?

My 172 cup has 54mm holes and 65mm between tube and holes.

I've heard that 1.2 models has 52mm holes and 182 cup has 60mm, also 182/172 is 58mm and 172 cup at 58 mm. whats correct?

Is the cup wider track obtained from the hub, suspension or bottom arms?

Not sure on all the measurements but the bolt holes are the same on FF and 172cup and non cup'd 182s. 182s with cup suspension are 60mm between the mounting holes. The extra track on 172 cups is due to wheel offset and on 182 cups is due to suspension revisions.

So my extra track is just down to the alloys, then?

In theory then supension off a 172cup car (54mm) will fit a non RS car ( also 54mm)?

offset is the only thing that changes the track between a FF and a Cup model RS. As for suspension fitting a non RS then im sure it would but i dont know how much you would have to take across, im presuming rear beam, wishbones, struts the lot. All RS's have wider track than non RS's it's only the 182 with cup pack thats physically wider again.
