digital oil display

Since yesturday, when i turn on the ignition, the "OIL OK" is no longer displayed.
It just goes straight to showing the milage.
Does anyone know why this is not showing? and also, would i be able to locate the oil level sensor to see if its still connected?

check the connection to the sender is near the dipstick in the block
